Hey guys! I’m Nerd and I’m super excited to work with you guys! I use the pronouns she/her. Honestly I’ll read just about any genre but my favorites are science fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction! I’m currently working on making a comic with a friend of mine and working on a couple of side projects as well! Let’s see what else is there... aha! I LOVE learning languages and I’m currently learning Mandarin Chinese you probably shouldn’t bring up languages around me because if you do I’ll talk for hours about them! My account exploded in growth before I took everything down and began working on myself. I'm slowly writing again, though I'm not active on posting anymore. I'll read more or less anything (I'm currently trying to desensitize myself to more gruesome horror), but I definitely enjoy fantasy, scifi, poetry, and mystery.
My writing focuses right now are poetry and lore-writing for my D&D campaigns (an almost surefire way to summon me to a chat). I also love baking, photography, and pets!
I am currently working as a substitute teacher at a school, so I may be a bit slow to to reply to DMs or may be on intermittently, but I'm still open to chat, talk about what's on your mind, drop a recipe or a meme to cheer you on as you guys go on your writing journeys. I bid you all a warm and welcome G’day for I am Lord Ratticus! I’m sometimes known as Ratbag or Rat for short, though I don’t mind either. I go by he/him pronouns. I was born and currently live in Australia.
I’ve been writing for about 8 years, (though most of it was procrastination.) on the series that I have planned that will become one connected universe with my other WIPs. The main WIP that I have going is a Sci-fi fantasy series set in the far future that encompasses the entire universe. I intend to dabble into other genres such as mystery, western and neo-noir. I’m relatively new in the writing world but I believe I’ve picked up some things here and there through a keen sense of intuition.
I love gaming, movies and music. I’m always down to play a game with someone (if I’ve got the time and if I have the game.) I’m a Sci-fi fan and a massive Star Wars nerd. I’m always down to have a chat with folks and help out so don’t hesitate to say hello (As a rat, I won’t bite but I may steal your cheese. :cheese: ) I do stream games on twitch from time to time and those games can vary on all platforms.
